…Chris Roberts isn’t alone in heaping the praise on the young trailblazer from California. An orderly queue of skating’s movers and shakers forms to pay tribute to Joslin in the wake of the release of his first pro skate shoe.
Andrew Reynolds, Erik Bragg and Gary Rogers, to name a few, look at a career that’s changed skating forever in the new 10-minute FOUNDATION video from Etnies.
“Nobody is doing what Chris is doing,” says Rogers. “Nobody.”
From his debut in the Bones video, to wins at the X Games and the Battle at the Berrics, Chris has carved out a reputation as one of the best skaters to emerge in the last decade.
“He’s a different breed,” says Matt Berger. Chris has changed the game, he dares to do what others before him couldn’t and now he’s just seen his first Pro shoe become a reality.
But none of it could have been possible without the relentless passion he carries with him wherever he goes. It’s something skate legend Andrew Reynolds nods to in FOUNDATION.
“You can see it’s pure. It’s just pure excitement and passion when he does this stuff.”
