Taking inspiration from the Maori word for ‘swift’ and ‘speed’, the newest addition to Babolat’s Jet range has exploded onto the court this season and its stormy colourway is stealing the limelight.
Weighing in at only 12.4 ounces, the French manufacturers have upped their game in designing the dynamic shoe.
It might be lightweight, but it still packs a punch.
The breathable mesh upper is what really sets the Jet Tere apart from its predecessors. Providing step-in comfort and support, the upper flexes in the right spots. It also gives the Jet Tere an ultra-comfy ‘snugness’ which improves precision on the court, ideal for drills and rallies at the baseline.
The midsole is built using KPRS-X technology – an EVA pad made from premium quality foam, moulded into a specific shape to better protect the heel and foot. The result is a souped-up midsole, which grants shock absorption for those hard landings through its supreme comfort and cushioning.
Soles by MICHELIN Outsole
Say hello to the unique S-shape outsole. A concept designed by MICHELIN to equip the Jet Tere with unrivalled traction and durability. And taking the sole performance to the next level, Active Flexion. Technology developed and patented by Babolat, the materials actively address pressure points for maximum responsiveness.
Rapidly responding to lateral changes of direction, the sole is ultra-grippy and keeps you connected on all court surfaces.
The Jet Tere is a speed-orientated shoe that focuses its strengths in being lightweight yet fiercely dynamic. It has the profile of a Jet – low to the ground and a slim width – but the mesh upper is a key revision. Demonstrating its real value in improved ventilation, while upholding Babolat’s distinct credibility in flexible footwear.
