Snowboarders do it for the rush. Luckily for us, wherever there’s someone doing something out of this world on their board, you’ll normally find headcams, drones or camera men.
Check out these 10 videos and get yourself pumped for your next adventure on the slopes…
MARCUS KLEVELAND WINS SLOPESTYLE GOLD
83,603 views
Marcus Kleveland just gets better and better. The nineteen-year-old Norwegian (yes, nineteen) made waves back in 2017, taking two medals at the Winter X Games. His gold-winning Slopestyle run was exceptional. Smooth and effortless, he finished up in style with a backside triple cork 1440°.
This guy is crazy good.

SNOWBOARDING AN EMPTY WATER PARK
1,513,738 views
Red Bull’s Snowmusement video is just pure, full-throttle fun at its absolute finest.
Toby Miller, Red Gerard, and his brother Brendan, make light work of the deserted New Jersey water park. The trio ride through the tunnel slide known affectionately as High Anxiety during peak season, nail audacious drop-ins and catch some impressive air. Both mischievous and impressive in equal measure.
SLICE ‘N’ DICE
41,108 views
There’s an old school feel to Whitelines’ foray up alpine favourite, Avoriaz.
Talk about living life on the edge. Lewis Sonvico and Dave Crozier show some serious board control as they carve up the fresh slopes. The pair throw themselves into the pistes, kicking up absurd amounts of powder and spending the majority of the film horizontal to the ground at breakneck speeds.
We dig the rides and the vibes.
WORLD’S LONGEST RAIL RIDE
2,330 views
Six riders, one rail and a HUGE record to beat. Set way back in 2011, the previous benchmark stood at 78.70 metres. But that was about to fall hard and fast.
The new attempt took place on a 1 metre high, 84 metre long rail. Cue a ton of failed attempts, and wrecked boards for good measure. Sure enough though, Basti Rutting took things into his own hands and smashed the record with balance and poise…
DISCOVER CHILE WITH JAKE BLAUVELT
19,688 views
Chile is remarkable. Snaking 4,270 km down the western spine of South America, it’s home to large stretches of the Andes mountain range. This is prime snowboarding territory.
Feast your eyes on the dramatic shots in this mini-doc from Nathan Avila. The video sees RIDE’s Jake Blauvelt hurtling down almighty mountainsides, alongside guides Cristián Wehrhahn & Paulo Audisio. We even get an insight into the time the guys spent off the slope, rubbing shoulders with a family of locals in Lo Valdes.

JACK PATES’ FIRST PLACE SUPERPIPE RUN
10,087 views
Check out this short, but oh so sweet, run from US olympian Jack Pates. The rider from Boulder, Colorado, shows us what he’s all about with this faultless display during the Dew Tour Superpipe finals. Pates catches some real speed as he lands trick after trick, and finishes with a classy double twist 1260° tail grab. Pipe runs are never easy, especially when you throw expectant spectators and high altitudes into the mix.
Well played Jack, well played.
INSANE STEEP LINE IN CHAMONIX
349,648 views
More epic scenes as Xavier De Le Rue’s DIY Tour hit Chamonix. After making light work of some heart-in-mouth tree runs on the slopes in Verbier, Switzerland, De Le Rue’s next challenge came in the form of one of the dizziest lines you’re likely to find in the Alps — or anywhere for that matter.
Steep is an understatement. As the riders in the video (both skiers and snowboarders) begin their descent down the infamous Mallory Couloir line, you get a sense that they’re all one slip from doom.
Rather you than us Xavier. That was intense.
EPIC BACKCOUNTRY BOARDING WITH TRAVIS RICE
237,317 views
Time for a breather? Nope. Travis Rice gets straight to it with this one, chucking himself down a beasty looking backcountry descent at Galena Lodge in Idaho.
With a GoPro fixed to his helmet, you get hooked into that crazy first person POV shot the whole way down — and boy, what a ride. By the end you can almost feel the rush of adrenaline that hits Rice. He’s absolutely loving it, and we’re not surprised!
TORSTEIN HORGMO – SNOWBOARDING EPICNESS
157,778 views
There’s nothing like going out on a high.
Norway’s Torstein Horgmo is an absolute boss on the board. It seems he can literally do no wrong. So we were stoked when the Shredbots channel dropped this full part last year — and it didn’t disappoint! “Stronger” is jam-packed with HUGE tricks and all the Torstein goodness you could possibly want. With more air than a hundred blimps and the slick camera work needed to do it all justice, this final video is one of our favourite parts…
…maybe ever.
WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE
Well, that was fun.
With headcams and HD video making it easier than ever before to capture awesome video footage, we’re expecting even bigger and better clips to hit our screens over the rest of the season, and beyond.
